Default Poll - How often do you wash your pets food and water bowls?

I'm just curious. I have two cats and a dachshund so I use the small metal food bowls and I have 11 of them handy so I can give them a clean bowl everytime I give them fresh food and water.

I throw theirs in the dishwasher after every meal...just like I do our dishes.

When their done eating at the end of the day, I wash their food dishes and water dishes. I just give them a quick wash in the sink.

Every time I run the dishwasher - about every other day. Mine eat from glass bowls for their kibble meals and Corelle soup bowls for their raw meals.

I use disposable bowls for my dog's food so she gets a clean one with every feeding and a new water bowl everyday. Our outside cats use the water on demand pet fountain connected to an outside faucet. Don't have to fuss with fresh water everyday for them. My dog knows how to use the cat fountain when she is outside.
