Am I correct in that you didn't use the very middle of the strip? How much of that do you have left? How large are your blocks? How large did you make the first cut? This is beautiful. I have some fabric that I could do something like this (I think). If you didn't use the middle of the strip..... wonder what that would look like on the border. You have done a wonderful job and made a beautiful quilt, wall hanging or what ever you decide you want it to be. Thanks for sharing. BrendaK

Very pretty. I like the idea of a blue border and a narrow stripe would look awesome. I KNOW whatever you do will be perfect. You are far ahead of any of my suggestions in designing this pattern.

    you're so smart!

i'll have to remember this for the fabrics that don't really speak to me... maybe they can be reworked into something better!

I LOVE this....you are so CLEVER !!! I have some stripes like yours in my stash from LONG ago.... i will definitely have to check them out and see if i can make it work. Just my opinion...but i think a narrow "rust/burgundy" border would look nice - then the wider blue.

Girl, your creativity is showing greatly with this one! If it were my creations, I would trim that white down to 1/4" of the points & then add several borders. I'd do a narrow pinkish (off the flowers) then a little wider rust, then a little wider light blue, then a little wider dark blue. Binding it with the dark blue. That way it would pick up the most predominate of the colors & tie it all together. Can't wait to see what you do to finish it off & the quilting possibilities...oh my!

Fabulous idea! Love the transition that you made with the fabric. I like the blue border, really pretty together.
