I really like what you've done so far. I suggest sashing the blocks with a bright blue or (as already suggested) a nice turquoise. ;-)

I agree, you just need a bit of color. Adding red, and maybe even a white rabbit applique would make this a Alice in Wonderland quilt!!

Not sure if the colors are true on my computer, but I think it will turn out to be a nice quilt. The touch of red (or something bright) might help you like it. Send pictures when you decide! I like the comment about espresso - perfect description.

I think the blocks are very nice, though I cannot really see the true colors. I was thinking yellow would be a nice pop of color.

I don't think it is ugly at all. Just needs a splash of color. Your piecing is perfect by the way. great job.

It is far, far from ugly. Personally, if I added sashing, it would be a tan or brown. I think it is going to make a very restful, comforting quilt to snuggle up with.
