    Here's a picture of 2 of them trimmed. They look so much better and I know they will come together quickly and easy. (finger's crossed!)

    Just to be different, I sew them together and THEN trim them, that way I can trim with scissors and don't need to be so precise. ;-)

    I pin everything anyway, so all I do is poke a pin through the sewing line on the paper, into the sewing line on the other bit. I generally use two to three pins, depending on how long the seam is, then simply sew down the line.

    Kathleen, that is gorgeous! You did a great job. I can't wait to see what the entire quilt top looks like.

    And those fabrics make me drool, especially the dragonfly one!

    I just finished my hunters star/broken arrow was supposed to be paper pieced. I paper pieced one block and did not care for the results. so I measured the pieces cut strips and finished the quilt with no paper. I included the one paper pieced block into the quilt.
