    Default Really Bright Orange!

My grandson and his new wife visited me last month from Tacoma, WA. Stephanie is such a sweet gal, I just wanted to make her a quilt. She likes orange and brown. This is the best I could do with those colors. Since it is so bright I offered to tone it down with Tan Rit Dye but she loves it as it is. That is Lili peeking out from under it.

I love it too...think we are all afraid of using color boldly -- but when we see it done so well, it pleases us immensley!

I would NEVER attempt to tone down such a quilt. People either love this kind of thing or hate it. It is perfect as it and I'm very happy she loves it. For sure it it is bright! But bright is nice--cheery and definitely is an attention-getter!

Beautiful! Love the bright yellow - lovely contrast for the orange and brown.
