I haven't trimmed it yet, but it looks to me like a couple of my points will also be chopped. Did anyone else have this issue? I am going on a quilt retreat this weekend and I plan on finishind it there.

Anoka, I've studied the photos...and maybe it's just us...not sure how to make it better. I'm sure not ripping with the bias edges, but this is an area I need help with, it looks like. Maybe someone will come up with a solution for you this weekend. Love this pattern, though!

Anoka and coopah, it may be too late for this project, but I used to have the same problem whenever I set my blocks on point. Now I avoid that by cutting the setting triangles at least 1/4" larger than called for. More than likely I will cut them 1/2" larger and "float" the blocks.

Per Evie, I am a great fan of cutting a tad larger and cutting down to the perfect size. I've read all the hints about the perfect 1/4 inch, scant quarter inch etc but its just easier for me to have that little extra for a fudge factor.

One of the nicest things about this pattern is how easy it is to adjust it to any size you need! After jclinganrey (on post #887) showed her quilt, I knew what to do with the 10 inch Harley Davidson blocks that I made out of some scarves. Here is what I did with them.
