I just can't keep from wondering how many rotary blades you went through. I know that's trivial, but I just wondered. It looks like a great stack to work with. I don't have many pieces I would call stash. Most of my fabric is in quilt kits where I have bought all the fabric to finish a quilt top.

wolph33 - you are my hero and an inspiration. I have a lot (probably at least 100 yards) of fabric that I have had for a while, couldn't really figure out why I bought it, probably was on sale, and really didn't know what to do with it. I'm going stripping!!!!

I am drawn to the strip quilts that have secondary patterns, and using your idea, getting the strips ready, will help get some fabric I am not fond of ready to make into quilts. Thank you for such a great idea!

Just wondering.....how do you separate the colors to store them?

You have a wonderful collection and what an inspiration. Any time you feel like beginning a project all the heaven lifting is already done -- so to speak
