She has pets and I don't think she eats candy! I don't know a lot of people that don't eat candy, do you?
Oh no I do love CANDY but it doesn't like me goes straight to my bun! LOL I have lost almost 20lbs since the last of Feb and have lots more to go!

Just had to show you what I did. My Dh made this for the dogs, so they can look out the window, I decided I didn't want just the ugly old wood showing so I covered it, as much as I could. I think it looks great for a first time job.

Soooo happy you liked it Verna. I don't know why I was so intimidated but I was until I looked up a lot of your earlier posts. It got easier and I was pleased with how it went together. I searched for florals and really didn't find any that I felt were nice. They are already showing Fall fabrics...after such a terrible Winter here..I wasn't fond of a lot of what I saw.
Wow! Congradulations on losing 20 lbs. I need to do that and am working on it. I wish it would go a little faster!

Well the pictures of the packages are wonderful, but the puppies are adorable! I hope Fergus is feeling better soon.
Verna is there a selvage on the bird panel? I love that fabric!
I received an amazing box today from Nancy in Louisiana. She really loaded it up with all kinds of goodies!

There is a really neat kit to make a bag, and it's PINK! Not to mention cool books, a PINK quilt pattern, and PINK note cards. Guess what color I like???

She also made some really thick hot pads, and they actually match my kitchen curtains. The peace symbol is a container with a pincushion on top, the little yellow guy is a planter and it came with grass seeds. It is up in the window already. And PINK flamingo fabric!!! That will have to go into a very special project.
We both have pet turtles, although hers is much bigger than mine. When DS got the turtle he was a major Star Wars fan so the turtle was named Jabba the Turtle.
Thanks again for a wonderful package Nancy!

My package went out today. Hint you get way too much snow for even me. Zip code adds up to 18. Hope you like it. Expected delivery Mon 4/14. It has to go over the river and over the mountains, and across the prairie. lol

Here is the bird panel. I couldn't wait, had to stop what I was working on and see if I could put it together. luvstoquilt I sewed it as you suggested thanks. Now just have to cut the excess off the back, first have to re-sew it. did it at 4.0 width to see how well it matched up, now need to go back and make the stitch smaller.

April Secret Pal Exchange from Ladybug 1938
Lady Bug 1938 I loved my goodies. She sent me lots of Froggy items. I have displayed them proudly in my collection. The frog magnet came to work with me. I will be reading my mystery as soon as I finished my latest quilty mystery book. Also I am taking Chocolate with me to 4 day quilt retreat this weekend. thanks so much for your generosity.
