    MiraB ... it was nice for her to make something "real" right at the beginning. Too bad she could not keep it for herself though. I had her join her two practice blocks up with two I did, for a large mug rug. I had her do FC work for the SIAS centres, so she could get a sense as to how that could work for future projects. Joining PP sections let her get some practice in joining sections before moving on to her kitty... She did really well. I was quite proud of her, and her innovations. We had talked about whether to do the 8" block as is, or blow it up and she decided to keep it at that size, and frame it up to look more like a window, than the shelf that I have ... and it worked out well.
