Welcome from New England, I have found this group to be wonderful in so many ways. I hope you do to. Congrats on your new found hobby, I have found it to be addicting. I too waited a while before getting into quilting. I was afraid I couldn't do it. Now there are so many things I want to do and don't have the time. I am really looking forward to retirement. I hope I can still quilt then.

hi my name is roz and i live in maine. quilting and fabric art is my passion. it's great to see all the info from you ladies. my tip for you is heat up your iron and run it over a dryer sheet it will clean and even get rid of sticky glue from our projects. happy holidays and happy quilting. Welcome. I am 75 also and have quilted for 10 years. Such an addiction. Meet us in the chat room sometime and get aquainted. There are several of the same people late at night, like 10:30 central time.

Welcome from Ohio... I am 65 yrs. old and I started quilting about 2yrs ago. Simply love it! It is the most gratifying thing I have ever done. Plan on doing it til I'm in my 90's if I live that long. :D
