I wish more quilters would see that Bargello pattern is NOT that difficult to do but then I never did a King size. I would look to see if there is a cotton print that has the colors in your quilt. Batiks are a bit of a pain to quilt on both the front and back with the tightness of the weave that batiks have. Great job !!

That quilt is just gorgeous. Just finished my first bargello and my other half is looking for this pattern but we don't know whose it is to get it. Could you please tell me the name and teh designer.

Thanks,
Jeff

Really beautiful (no advice on the backing - just wanted to tell you it was really beautiful).

Love the colors and the ebb and flow of your Bargello it is beautiful. I have always used what ever makes me happy for the backing or what I have enough of already. So I guess I am not much help.

It is a beautiful quilt. I have never had any trouble quilting with a batik back and front, but cotton would work just as well. Your choice. Love your colors. Great job!

So gorgeous. I would buy batik backing for it. I mulled over ordering batik for the one pictured on my avatar and am so glad I did. When the quilter finished, I thought the backing was almost as beautiful as the front, and use it in the summer as the quilt is more for fall and winter.
