I have found the few times I've gone shopping with extra money so that I could splurge were the times I couldn't find anything I wanted to buy. Hope that doesn't happen to you! Have a great time and let us know what goodies you find.

have fun but remember when you shop at quilt shows you may buy something that you can never get more of....we make a round of all the vendors and mark down what we "MAY" want, then go back to look again thinking about if we really want to make that purchase. Two years ago when visiting a local quilt shop, I was very interested in a book and template and I didn't buy it, last year we weren't able to make the show and I wanted it so bad. This year I immediately trekked around looking for the vendor. I found her and bought the book and template at $45. That was 3 months ago and I haven't taken the plastic covering off either yet.
Actually I bought a book of templates at a quilt show last year that I've not used yet--it is a book full of blocks of around the world. I've not used it yet, but I'm not sorry I got it. Someday I'll have the confidence to try some of those blocks.
