oh heck your tables are a couple thousand miles apart no one will have a clue it was .. borrowed from. These are coming out so beautiful. I have put an edge on mine all fall colors and ended with acorns. Tempted to add a small row of 2.5" squares to finish the outside edge.. not sure if its table cloth however or a lap quilt or a baby quilt. my nephew loved the one I made for his daughter all horrible baby girl colors! its browns and creams and golds and ugh its not girl stuff at all. He didn't want any gender related stuff. Wow. ok. now I at least have fall colors I can live with maybe his son can have it he is 5.. make it big enough for a couch blanket. yeah that is the ticket!

I had some friends who were doing the same about colors and didn't want anything gender related. Imagine their surprise, when she was old enough to choose her own color she chose PINK.

I had someone dear to me insist their baby quilt for their soon to be should be brown with hints of light green, as that is how she decorated their home. My only though was Ummmmm ewwww? And no I didnt comply. It was pink, with hints of brown and green. The little girl loves the quilt, she is now 4 and it is on her big girl bed. That kid takes after her aunt much to the confusion of the couple. She loves bold colors, sparklies, and ruffles. God bless that kid.

Finally finished! I've been procrastinating on doing the binding.

It is 42" by 48" and I will be sending it to Sadie's Dream for a Cure.

This was the first quilt where I used setting triangles. Thanks Judy for giving me the courage to try them. Now I know I can do it again with a little planning.

I'm looking forward to your next mystery!

Very pretty, Connie!

I put my third one together today. I'll post a picture when it is done.

Connie, wonderful finish!!! and for a great cause. I sent a few bags to them, did not know they would take quilts. Mine is still in the flimsy stage. Need to clean the sewing room so I can find my machine.
