I think I would use a darker blue for inner and then the yellow for outer.

If it was me I would do a very narrow light blue then a wider yellow and finish with a darker blue the same width as the yellow.

You probably dislike the pink because it isn't a compliment to yellow and blue.....RED is. The color in the blue print has more of a red hue it looks like; perhaps you'd be better with a narrow border of that, then the yellow and blue.

I like the yellow (inner) and blue (outer) border fabrics. For the back, I'd piece leftovers from the top and supplement, if necessary, with similar or matching fabrics from my stash.

Also was wondering what it would look like if you substituted white for the yellow as an inner border, still keeping the blue for the outer? I've found that sometimes yellow can be overpowering if used too much; that is to say, a little bit goes a long way. Just curious...
