Awesome quilting on an equally awesome quilt. I would say your quilting skills are definitely equal to your friends applique skills. I love the scalloped bias trim she put on each block and repeated in the border. I just recently took a class on celtic bar bias applique and I am loving the different effects you can get with it. I can't even see where the strips begin/end on this.

She joined them on the diagonal in the black part of the stripe. Very clever, and completely invisible. She showed me where it joined, and I still couldn't tell.

superbly made, beautiful work and not 'overdone'
the quilting is a perfect compliment also.
