DH is down with the flu so all the holiday plans have been canceled - no one can enter our home :-(

upside i just made a mini jane block its A5.

the first pic is the mini block that finishes at 2.5 inches and the 2nd pic is the mini block next to the traditional size jane block that finishes at 4.5 inches.

i'm thinking i need to make a mini jane quilt to match american jane.

i'm gonna try making a mini triangle this weekend.

A5 mini finishes at 2.5 inches

The pictures of the blocks look so neat :!: Klue yours is so small never thought about making them smaller. Sure hope I can get mine to look half as good as yours do.

MERRY CHRISTMAS to all my DJ friends :!: :-)

here's the mini triangle its BR1

it measures 2.5 inches wide by 4.0 inches tall finished.

the first pic is just the mini triangle and the 2nd pic is a different jane triangle done at the traditional size of 5 inches wide by 8 inches tall.

i'm gonna try and make a mini jane to match the large jane.

it will be American Jane and Mini Me

klue- you're crazy! I think the 5" ones are difficult enough for me. Such precision- though. I crown you the queen of DJ!

I'm doing a little practice so I won't lose time when the party starts next week. When I participated in the swap it was the first time I had used translucent paper. For anyone who has used this paper maybe you can help me understand something. I've made 2 practice sections (same sections) Block I9 and one is right the other wrong.
When you are finished with a section and laying it paper down, (fabric facing you) is the printed side of the paper facing up or down?
The first of many, hopefully not too stupid, questions. Christmas is behing me and I'm ready to get knee deep into this party.

its down, or another way to say it, the printed part of the paper faces the flat surface when the fabric side is up or facing you.
