Lucky wife, he sure is a keeper. He must really care for you that he looks for things you like, use, etc. You are blessed.

Lucky you, but I have a feeling that feeling is mutual between you two--you didn't mention what you watch for for him. Has he figured out the dual power use of your new machine? I wonder how one like that came into an auction here in the states....or are you not from here in the US?

I just asked my husband if he knew what a "fat quarter" was--I got a "football" answer.

Oh well, I don't see any fat quarters coming in.

It has all the accessories and right now he his using the auto bobbin winder so he can test out how it sews.
I was trying to google what this machine looks like but all I came up with is people trying to find out how to thread the bobbin, maybe your fabulous DH could share with them how to do it. I think he'd be famous all over lol. I just put in the google search Singer DV9117.

Thank you everyone for your kind comments regarding DH. Yes, I agree he is a keeper. He ALWAYS looks for things for me including Coach and Dooney and Bourke hand bags, my fav. When I decided I wanted to try quilting he decided he wanted to try it also. He is making a quilt using camo. material. It is funny to see this big, rugged, outdoors type guy setting at the sewing machine.

He's a keeper. Any man who would be a yard/garage sale and think of his wife while he is looking for tools or other guy things is very thoughtful. Lucky you

In Puyallup,WA but I sure had to kiss a lot of "toads" before I found my PRINCE. When I finally decided I was alright being single and made a list of what was important to me and I wouldn't settle for less is when he appeared in my life.
