2014--50 Fabulous Paper-Pieced Stars BOW
#887
gorgeous blocks one and all! I want to shop everyones stash
Got my finished stars back and bound, love it! I think it is 95" square. As always my reverse side is pieced also, this time using up a bolt of depressing olive/black that I inherited.
I asked Wende to use what ever panto she wanted as long as it had stars, I think she chose a great one. I provided batt too, it was about $160.00 for the quilting.
the angle is weird, I had to hang over the balcony railing for photos, I think that is sun bars on the quilt.
I've also been making pillow cases, LOVE that red pokeydot!

I'm overwhelmed when I see these beautiful blocks. Oh how I wish I could paperpiece. I'm dyslexic and just can not get the jest of it. Yes I have books and videos, I need one on one I guess.

abdconsultant, try Quilting on the Square... www.Quiltingonthesquare.com and get their newsletter. With the newsletter comes free blocks of the month, which is pp. It is simple foundation blocks and they will answer questions by phone on paper piecing 'cause that is what they do. Its a good starting place, and it might just be the place to get you started. Good luck.
