I use to use the print outs but now I use the hex punch for the templates, so much faster. The paper is good to design a pattern.

Creative memories had a scrap booking punch . It has two sizes of hexagons. My sister is into scrap booking and she found it for me at a scrap booking garage. Sale for $4.00s , rather handy!

I found a site where you can get any size hexagons in good stiff paper very inexpensively .I really like them and it saves so much time not having to cut my own. They are reusable too . Paperpieces .com

I go to TexasFreckles.com because I can cut her (free) templates with a rotary cutter. I print them on cardstock. Quick and easy. I'm keeping your link for future reference though, thanks!

I buy theses same things from my LQS. $3.50 for a pack of 100. I use a small spot of fabric glue to hold them together with fabric beffore basting and gently remove after they are attached on all 6 sides to other Hexies. I can get 2-4 uses out of each one.

I tried the paper from the computer. Cutting out 100 Hexies from card stock was way more than $3.50 of my time and the ones I printed and cut myself were on a different paper and I was lucky to get 2 uses out of them, mostly only 1. And when I stacked the pieces, they didn't all line up perfectly like the purchased ones. I'm with feffertim, buy the precut papers.

Also, I went to a demo at our LQS and they used square pieces (precut), not hexagonal pieces. Works for me and is much easier.
