These are beautiful! Can't imagine anyone not liking a brown quilt like either of these.
I recently made a "brown" quilt, too, and got kind of the same reaction here on the board. I don't even like brown myself but fell in love with a fabric that had brown in it. Brown is actually a nice rich color if handled correctly. I've seen some absolutely gorgeous (including yours) "brown" quilts.

Brown makes me frown and brings me down...hahaha. Actually brown can be very rich and I have used it occasionally. However when I looked at my stash, I have no brown in it. I, however, have been toying with the idea of making a red and brown quilt.Your quilts are both beautiful and cause me to appreciate brown a little more.

Jean I think your quilts are gorgeous and like another poster stated EVERYTHING you put your hand to is unique and beautifully 'yours'...
Reading all the comments and yet, I cannot think of a color I don't like.
Now patterns/designs on fabric...I don't like the modern fabric designs but I love the aqua's and vibrancy of the modern fabrics...just don't particularly like the patterns on the modern fabric.
Show me a realistic floral rose or poinsettia, mum I'm apt to swoon. I really like Eleanor Burns vintage looking floral fabrics. I've come to really like 30's fabrics and Civil War fabrics which include a lot of brown colorways.
