    It looks like a variation of marti ms dahlia quilt.

    Could be someone designed it using "slice up a circle" don't remember who wrote the book but the techniques are great. Very interesting quilt.

    I have no idea..I bought it online from goodwill...it will be here Tuesday, and I'll post better pics. It does look like a dahlia quilt, but it seems to have variations added, such as that solid circular ring ...I would love to know if this is the maker's adaption or some pattern.

    My take on this is very pretty, got similarities to dahlia and lone star combined, lady probably did her own pattern..... is pretty

    Looks very much like one I bought at Sears, had shams that matched, and I enjoyed it for several years...have now moved and was gifted to someone. Was hand stitched I think, but not made in the U.S.A. Very pretty.

    why doesn't Sears have quilts like that when I go in?? I hope you find or devise a pattern for it that you can share! it certainly is beautiful!
