Question Help! Question on Mondo Bag

I am having a mental block on step 8 of the mondo bag. For some reason, I can't figure out how or where to fold before I stitch the diagonal. Does anyone have a picture or tutorial that might help? I searched youtube but couldn't find anything that showed this step nor did I see anything on Quiltsmart's website. I know this is probably obvious but every once in a while, obvious things aren't so obvious to me!

I have the instructions here and Step 8 says:

"Fold on a Bottom Square line, RST, as shown. Pin from bottom to top so seams interlock. Sew, easing as necessary, from top of rectangle to bag bottom-this will force any "discrepancies" to bag bottom. Tip: Check corners-if a seam "pops" out, carefully clip excess and restitch corner, encompassing seam."

Hopefully this is what you were looking for?

I took a class and made one but I have forgotten step 8 but I remember is wasn't a difficult pattern, just time consuming. Look at the bag picture and it will come to you.

I had the same mental block. Thought I was being stupid. Was ready to go to local quilting store to get help and finally clicked. Glad you got it figured out. My daughter makes them using regular fusible (not gridded) and uses measurements in pattern and the directions. They look great.
