Whitepine: Really love how its looking. The placement of the red is perfect. It really works as a way to unify the quilt.

I really like yours, whitepine. I especially like that last row with the scrappy square in a square.
If you scroll back through the previous page, it's so fun to see all the awesome quilts! Good job, everyone!

whitepine--I agree with all the others...your quilt is turning out great. The red really ties it together.

Thanks everyone. I agree about the red, and it was just an afterthought...that worked.

I have still not decided on what to do with mine... make it bigger & usable or leave as is and donate for a lap quilt? BUT.... today I did work on my guild one that started with the hot air balloons.... I think I found a block on quilterscache that I can use to make it a little longer.... will keep on plugging along...sorry no camera here at the moment.

Got the row sewn on tonight & it's now a 56"square so have taken a picture. The middle size was your choice...then they gave instructions what had to happen on the other rounds. I found the Round Robin block on quilterscache so put it on the bottom row... I've tried to keep curves in each round where possible.

Wow, that is gorgeous! What pattern is the pinwheel on your border?

What fun! Love all the asymmetrical stuff because it makes it so interesting. You just keep looking and looking.

Thimblebug: Truly an exceptional quilt. Doing a Medallion quilt has really helped me think outside the box and yours is just one giant step further. Like the Magpie, I just got totally distracted. Going to get mine out and put it on the design wall and wait for inspiration to strike.
