Looks like you've been given lots of links! Just wanted to say that I LOVE this pattern and it is definitely on my to-do list! Post pics when you get going!

Sewnoma, yes, I do plan to make one as soon as I clear out the list of projects that I have going. I actually had to write a priority list so I could concentrate! So it's going on the list at Project #7. P.S. I'm right in Sebastopol. :-)
Hey, sweet! Another local!! I'm in Santa Rosa. *waves*

I just found out last night that my guild is going to have a class on Storm at Sea later this year! I'm super excited about that, looks like it's moving up my list! I was telling the lady next to me about this snail trail variation but without a picture I don't think my description was doing it justice.

Haha, it went straight on my to-do list as soon as I saw it! Although, I have decided to do a traditional storm at sea first!

I am in the Moonlight Quilters (MQSC.org) - I work full-time so there was NO way I could join the day guild! Moonlight's meetings are from 7-9PM, 1st & 3rd Wednesday of each month (some months there is only 1 meeting). I just joined about 4 or 5 months ago so I'm still a newbie, but it's a really friendly group and so far I've had nothing but fun. I've already made some new friends, have picked up numerous tips, and even got to attend a class with Harriet Hargrave!

If you'd like, come visit the guild some time and sit in for a meeting - they're very welcoming of guests! First meeting of the month usually has show & tell, which is one of my favorite things. Like a mini quilt show every month!

Wow Mary I really like that third one. I have never seen that one. A storm at sea is near the top of my bucket list.

Love this one -I will do this one with scraps I need to start down-sizing totes of scraps. So I have been book marking for winter projects.
