Here is my slouchy ole Hobo Bag I finished. lol...

Inside fabric with pockets on both sides for all my junk.

It's my go with a pair of old jeans type bag. I guess I should have made those pockets a solid color. lol

Hope everyone's work day goes better tomorrow. Before I had to retire early due to worse health issues, I had a boss who loved micro managing. The first day she came to our school she said, " I might be soft spoken, but I am not easily intimidated". I never seen an intimidated bone in that lady, but I seen many people intimidated by her. She didn't intimidate me, but I never was one to worry about standing alone, even when it's not fun. (that is if I think an injustice was/is being done) When I was just a little girl in maybe the 2nd grade me and my little friends were all working hard on our school work, and then we seen this girl in front of all of us cheating to get her good grades. Well, me being me even then, I said, but Miss________ it's not fair, she did good because______________, and right away the teacher said, Miss ______________ you can hold your tongue right now and get back to work. What she is doing is none of your concern. I have been that way ever since (which isn't for my own good) lol. I didn't see it as being a tattle tale, but for justice I had to let the world know.

As a result of the above mentioned, my life hasn't always been an easy one, but a happy one just the same.

You girls here are as Lynnie said. Many nice folks on this quilting board.

Susan very nice purse. I want to make a jeans purse sometime. I been saving pieces of old jeans. Not sure if I want to make a patch style where you leave the edges raw and snip them so they ravel a bit or what kind.I know I will put lots of pockets. Even at least 1 zippered one. I love the way you quilted the design on yours. Pat I pulled off sneeking out to a yard sale yesterday with a good friend. We always are silly together and have a good time. Sis, where are the pictures of the place mats. (you know better than to not sow us)Have a good day all.

Susan, love your purse. Love the pockets and the quilting.
Mary, I've seen alot of jeans purses. Some of them cut off
at the crotch and sewn up. then you have the outside
pockets too. I've seen them done with lace all over the
outside to feminize it. They sell for about 45-60 at the
street craft fairs.

My partner rec's her pc today!!!

I can stand up fairly straight today. My sis drove me to the chiropractor yesterday. I hope it stays in. Crossing fingers here.

I will try and print out my postage today before the mailman gets here to mail mine off to my partner. I hope she likes it.

Susan, Pretty purse!

Susan what a nice purse. Big enough to put lots of things in it. Karen I hope that your job gets better. It is really hot and humid here today. I went to a few yard sales and good thing there weren't that many. I spent a whole $2 so you know they had crap. My garage door was working this morning, but not now. Now I'm not sure who to call. The garage door place or an electrician. I saw my son playing with the eyes so I hope he didn't misalign them. I used to make jeans purses before I started the Bow Tucks. Here are a few. Everyone that has hot temps keep cool. It's cooling off tomorrow so I'm going out to get pics of the Steam Engine.

Pat those are adorable. I would need to use a pair of my own jeans so I could get enough junk in the purse. I don't know how anyone carries those little hand held bags. I usually put those little bags in my big ole purse. lol.

How cute the jeans purses are!

Guess what I got today? My needle case from lawsonmugs! Thank you so much Mary! Wow it is so cute and functional too. I just LOVE it! There was lots of goodies in the package along with it. Little scissors, travel sized thread, an adorable assortment of handmade fancy pins, safety pins, needles, charms on the case made it oh so special too. There was candy and a chocolate cupcake candle and a fatquarter cutting guide.
Well here is a picture in case I forgot anything! There were so many goodies it was so fun to explore the package. Oh I loved the handmade card too. So thoughtful, mary. Thanks a million!!!

Oh I spent the afternoon looking where I had my partner's name written down, not thinking I could just go back into my messages to copy it again ... .LOL! A blonde in pain thing I am sure.

I should be able to get to the post office Monday to get it sent out.
