$50 for the curved drawer model with the inkwell and in that condition? Great deal!

The only thing is some fool painted it with white latex paint.
Although it is in good condition, we can't bring ourselves to use it until we refinish it.

We have two of these #42's; my daughter found one and a year later I found one at my local Goodwill. Even had the bench with it and both ours have the original finish still on them. Love this cabinet!

I'm not Rodney. But I've used 50/50 denatured alcohol and lacquer thinner and 000 steel wool and some rags.

If you don't like blonde oak, I've always thought those deco cabinets would look good in black or ebony.

I saw that. It's killing me but there's no way, no how at the moment. Our bills are eating what's left of this pay cycle.
Next month probably won't be any better.

I shop thrift stores all the time, and see some great cabinets and such, but since I have absolutely NO space for them, I just look wistfully and walk away. You are all so lucky to have space for these treasures you find!!!
