My thoughts exactly! thank you for sharing the whole story. I would have been beyond consolation had that work of art been mine and lost under similar circumstances. So glad it was finally found on on its way back home to you.

Absolutely GORGEOUS! What a lot, lot, lot of work. I can't imagine have it lost for any space of time - I'd be so sick about that. I am very happy it was found and was in good shape. How are you planning to quilt it? More hours and hours there to hand quilt it! There is going to be a ton on time invested in it when you're finished!
