Figures. You fixed your post and mine is here to stay. Someone's going to be scratching their head saying "Walmart? what walmart?"

I do love your base. I'm currently trying to make a couple rough copies of my White Rotary base for my other two Whites that were given to me. Those ones are a pain because of all the curves at the corners and bobbin cover plate.
Good thing I have a lot of time on my hands. These things are going to use a lot of it.

On an unrelated note, I've been pricing walnut and oak veneer on Ebay. I've never tried bending veneer before but the prices are reasonable enough that I may try a bentwood case at some point in the future.

Awesome woodworking skills! I'm afraid to go beyond a pruning saw. In the background right side, looks like you have created some other widgets & gadgets for thread.

Very nice. I wish I had the space/tools to do things like this.

Your case is lovely, and I love the handles and larger box on the end to hold the cord and foot control! I need to have my son work on one for me...

Now you're making a lot of us add to our wish list! I was scratching my head trying to figure out the "Wal-Mart" comment!

That's beautiful! Care to post your method? I have a 99 that needs a new base too.
