    Default Mississippi Mud

I got this recipe from a very good friend who passed away in September.

1 cup marshmallow cream, heated slightly
    1/2 cup butter, melted
    3 Tbsp. cocoa
    3 Tbsp. light corn syrup
    2 cups powdered sugar
    1 Tbsp. milk
    1/2 cups chopped pecans

    Make brownies.
Heat the marshmallow cream in microwave about 5 seconds and spread on top of the brownies. Let cool 20 -25 min.(I like to refrigerate mine til the marshmallow cream is kind of hardened).
Mix butter, cocoa, light corn syrup and powdered sugar. Beat well. Add milk and pecans. Spread over the brownies.

    I like it kept refrigerated.

    YUMMMMM!!

I would guess about 400 points. LOL Maybe make a batch, eat half a one serving and give rest as a gift to a really, really skinny friend. Sounds really good so would probably be hard to give away.

    M. Mud Cake is one of our favorites, and everyone likes it. Since my DH is Diabetic, I don't make it. It wouldn't look good on my thighs, and that would be where it would be --since he can't eat it!! Mariah

    Everything in moderation, right?!
After all it has milk in it, and nuts, which are healthful.
