When I made mine, I decided to make the blocks smaller. My advice would be to leave them the size she suggests....it has to be MUCH easier!

I SITD and I won numerous ribbons with my quilts because the colors of the fabric were so blendable in the patterns. Major shows such as Quilt Market really go for the heavily pieced and quilted modern quilts. Always wanted to do one of those blending squares. Congratulation Dina !!
