    Default Using fleece fabric

    Hi Everyone,

I am interested in knowing if any of you ever used fleece for piecing a quilt top?
I saw some really nice fleece at Hancock Fabric yesterday.

    Thank You

I bought a bolt of white--I use it for batting.

I don't know that I would use it for piecing -- maybe for batting or backing.

My daughter has made a few of them using fleece. One was done with blocks of her friends favorite NFL team. They all turned out great. Hint, use a walking foot for better control. I use them to make lap quilts and quillows.

I don't see how you would piece it being as thick as it is. But then I am of the old school, learned to quilt in the mid 80s.
