While the grey makes the other colors "pop," it isn't as stark as a black might be. The grey is very soothing and makes the quilt warm and cozy.

..as poster then said..it's a pic from Pinterest, so we may never see the finished top, but I am putting gray on my shopping list too!

I like it, am a real gray person. Like gray cars and cats and quilts😉. Just made a gray and teal flannel comforter for a customer. She wouldn't choose a color, so that as my idea. Gray seems to make a lot of colors pop, kind of works with odd things.
