Default Walking foot for Brother PQ 1500S

Anyone know the best place to buy a new walking foot? I've worn mine out. The prices I'm seeing are $80-$90. That hurts. I've checked eBay and amazon. TIA, Karen.

This is one item where a generic usually isn't the best option. Pay the money & get the one made by your machine manufacturer.

Yeah, I'm not looking for generics. I think this is a little unique anyway. High speed, straight stitch machine with narrow dogs. Thanks anyway.

hi cizzors - check kens sewing center and allbrands. they both sell brother 1500's and brother walking feet. they're prices seem to range from $30-$45. my only experience is with allbrands (iron purchase several yrs ago) - good cust svc and price and quick dly.

Does anyone make a walking foot that hooks around the shaft like a quilting foot? Having to take that screw out and replace it is the pits. If you drop it and can't find it, you have a problem.

I hate trying to put it on.

I agree with PaperPrincess. I bought a generic for my Bernina and it just didn't work well. I wore mine out too. Finally was able to win on bidding on eBay. Sometimes you have to just be patient to get the right one. Good Luck.

Go with the real deal. The machine works so fast, it needs the engineering of the correct foot.
