Thank you. A bit overwhelming but I did use a tip given to me and that was....
to purchase an inexpensive plastic table cloth with felt like material on the reverse. Cut it up into 12" blocks and used those blocks to audition each nine patch.
By doing so I was able to manage the layout better because I could move the 12" blocks to my liking and/or the individual squares within the 12" block.
It helped decide on the layout; took a pic to use as a guide and then was able stack them into one pile and piece them in a speedy manner.
It is my first I spy quilt.
