I vote for awesome! I was watching as this quilt developed and all the worry you had. There is certainly nothing to worry about now. I love it. The golden yellow is a perfect finish for this beauty.

Worry over the colors and how it looks while in the beginning stages is something many quilters suffer through. Every quilt seems to be torture from the beginning. Usually it is all for naught. Just look how beautiful this scrappy spider web turned out.

My resolution for the new year will be to not worry so much about what a project will look like when it is done and just enjoy the doing and trust my judgement from the beginning.

You did a great job and the colors all blend so well. For not liking the colors, you picked some very nice ones to make this lovely quilt. I like it......looks warm and cuddly......

Really gorgeous!! I don't normally like that much green but for this one with the Backyard Colors, it's perfect....and the backing fabric goes with it perfectly!! Your mother will love it and it will bring her backyard right inside!
