Dream come true
#52
I have been working on moving my stash into my new room, and I just can't get a handle on how to store the fabric, do you store it by color, size pieces, groupings - the one thing I am discovering, is fabric I purchased years ago that I don't even remember, oops!!!! And groups of blocks from exchanges that I had been in, and can I say it - UFO's. Life is too short for a quilter's stash.
I try doing just a little at a time, so I don't get disgusted with my success.

Love your quilting room. I hope to have a dedicated quilting room this year. We have an extra guest room that has only been used a few times so I'm thinking of downsizing to only one guest room and using the other for my quilting room.

Love your sewing room! It's so bright and lots of windows which I love. I think it is great that you have created a space in it to sit and relax with a cup of coffee. You may never come out now, except for meals! LOL!

Words fail to discribe what an AWESOME studio you have there. It is wonderful! Should be entered in a quilting magazine. Thank you for sharing with all of us dreamers. As they say, "Dream Do Come True" So glad yours did. Enjoy it for many years to come. Have to agree with NikkiLu, "thou shalt not covet thy fellow quilter's new" studio. It is so much more than a room, it is a piece of heaven on earth. You R Blessed!
