It's beautiful!

You are going to have fun along with some frustration (as a newbie) but think of what you'll have learned when you finish it.

You'll be able to tackle anything with confidence!

You will enhance your skills and end up with an eye catching quilt on your bed. Good for you to go for it.

This will probably be one of your favorite quilts. You will do great and I know you will learn so much.

Don't be in a hurry--it will take time to complete, but it will be worth it.
I have to agree with Krisb - read, read, and READ AGAIN those instructions!! I too have the pattern and foundation papers for the Amazon Star, but again like Krisb, I have quite a few UFO's I want to get out of the way before I start that massive project.

It sounds like you've committed to this BOM, so have fun and post pics!!

it is beautiful but not for me however I have been in a quilt store when they were working on them and they did not look that hard just very time consuming but is enjoyable for those who like paper piecing

You can do it! One block at a time, one day at a time. Can't wait to see the finished product. It is sure to be a show stopper!

Good luck in your endeavor. You are half way there already with the mindset................I can. Those who fail are the ones who never start a challenge. Be sure and post your progress, successes and frustrations as you go. It is going to be beautiful !

You have definitely got a big project, Judy's quilt patterns are spectacular and this one sure is. Very interesting that they have laser cut applique pieces that can be raw edge or needle turn. Let me know if you use those and what you think of the product as well as the process you use with them. Good luck and have fun I know you will learn a lot~!

Go for it and let us see pictures throughout. For me it looks too difficult.
