    Default Bernina Virtuosa 150

I have been thinking about selling my Bernina 150. Yes, I am looking at another. Has anyone bought or sold one recently? I know it is a good machine and they hold their value. The original cost was about $3000. I just was wondering if any of you might give me your thoughts on pricing so I could determine an asking price. Any comments would be appreciated.

Not sure if this will make you happy but I found an ad from last March listing one for $599.

I have a Bernina Virtuosa 150 and was going to trade it in on a 730E. I can't remember how long I'd had the 150, but the dealer was only going to allow me $250 so I kept the 150, but still purchased the 730E. I thought Berninas held their value, must be not.

Pricing is hard. Look at ebay completeds and then charge less if you are trying to sell it locally.

I looked at completed ebay sales. Looks like they are going for 400-650.

I have watched eBay sales and a Bernina seems to do better with lots of accessories. It is just like selling a used car. I would keep it as a back up because sooner or later, they all need to go in for maintenance.
