Question New Hampshire (and New England) QB Members

Hi to all the QB members from New Hampshire and the New England area,

I was wondering if there is any interest in possibly meeting sometime? I live in southern NH (Nashua area) and would love to meet some other local quilters. I do belong to a guild in Bedford, NH and used to belong to one in Townsend, MA. I always want to make new friends. Anyone interested??? My idea would be to meet in a central location (not at anyone's home) like a restaurant or quilt shop (Keepsake anyone?) and possibly meet once a month and go different places each time (New England Quilt Museum?). What are your thoughts? I would need to meet during weekday, daytime hours as I don't drive at night and DH is home weekends, but if there are folks who want to meet at night I say "go for it!". PM me if interested in daytime get togethers. Thanks!

Take care and stay safe and warm in this horrid weather.

I am just thinking that you QB members in New England are getting lots of quilting done during this snowy winter in your area.

    oh! Me! Me!

I have lived in the Rochester area for 15 years but am just this week moving to Somersworth. My sewing machine has made it to the new place, but is stashed safely in a closet until the rest of the move is done...and then I will be setting up a dedicated crafting/quilting room. Which is a long-winded way of saying that I am busier right now than a one-armed paperhanger. But as soon as things get settled a bit, I would LOVE to meet up!

Good luck with your move! At least Rochester to Somersworth aren't too far apart.

Hopefully we can plan a get together sometime in the spring when out weather is a bit better! Already have another NH quilter who is interested.

    Take care!

I would say yes, but since I have my own retail business (actually two) it is difficult for me to commit. Invariably, if an employee cannot come to work... (especially during snowy months) I have to fill in. Good luck and happy quilting.

I would love to get together with other quilters from New England. Unfortunately, I still work M-F, 9-5. Someday I'll be able to retire and play all day everyday. :-) If anyone is interested in getting together on a weekend, let me know.

I am also interested in meeting other quilters. As a somewhat new retiree, I am generally available during the day. My husband is going for surgery and will have a long rehab but once home that should not prevent me from meeting. I think it would be great to meet other quilters!

I'm still working too until mid June when I might be able to meet up. Jmoore, i think I met you at the Bridgton quilt show and then again at Maine Quilts.

How about we try to meet up in the spring sometime? I would love to take a trip up to Keepsake or down to the NE Quilt Museum in Lowell, MA. Any takers?

Sounds like we have mores snow on the way...starting Saturday thru Tuesday then again Thursday. Only 43 more days until Spring!

Spring has sprung...but not if you look out my window right now! Snowing....AGAIN!!!! Grrrrr.....

Anyone still interested in possibly getting together? Just to let everyone know, The Bunkhouse Quilt Shop in Lyndeborough, NH is closing it's doors at the end of April. At this point in time, everything in the store is 30% off. Wanda is also selling all of the store fixtures in case anyone is interested.

    Let's try to plan something????
