That's why I sold the one I found. But Steve nailed it with his comment. Anything FW related is expensive. Make it a 'rare' FW attachment and it's worth it's weight in gold.

Well, I don't mean to beat a dead horse, but I would never pay that much for an attachment, one that might not be in working order, if it's all even there! This is a very glaring situation where "Let the buyer beware."

ok... That was way cool... So now I will be on a life long search for one and for the feed dog cover... Sigh...why why why did it have to be so cool.. ( and I won't pay that high price... Will just have to search)

A clone would never sell for what the genuine vintage Singer does. There are plenty of great working walking feet out there - including the next generation Singer made after this one. They go for around $35.
