I agree with you, Marjpf, I think that is the prettiest design but I am a newbie to quilting and the double wedding ring looks really difficult.

Fairly new to quilting so have no favorite yet. I am finding a lot of blocks I want to try. Am making a Red, White and Blue sampler quilt with 24 different blocks. 10 done so far - it is a block of the month (doing 2 blocks per month). I have about 500 blocks I want to try!

I like so many but I've only repeated a few. Log Cabin, Irish Chains 54-40 or Fight and I've made four quilts of the strips they go together so easy and I like the way they look.

I am making a Storm at Sea quilt for my grandson's birthday (end of Feb). I have to finish his sister's first (I have 2 weeks).

My favorites are one blocks wonder, log cabin, and flying geese. I also enjoy doing drunkards path.

I too love stars, any kind, lazy stars, crazy stars...all of the together! That is a project on my list. I am going to do a scrap quilt of just stars! Different sizes.
