My keyboard just quit working. Had to find a spare one.
W4Me, I don't intend to enter a quilt in a show. I once took a FMQ class at the LQS. The teacher told us she was at a show where two ladies were commenting on a quilt, real nasty comments about the piecing and quilting. She approached those two and said.........oh I'm so sorry, I did the best I could........they didn't dare say any more. But it wasn't her quilt.....she just said it to shut them up LOL LOL

I like that woman!
I had a similar experience with my Pony Club quilt. I saw a husband and wife chatting about it, and going back and forth with another quilt. I stepped forward and did not claim it as my own, but asked, just curious what you are comparing. Well, talk about zipped mouths!
Though they did rattle on about an obvious pet peeve that panels were not supposed to be entered in the competition. Neither mine nor the other was a panel. The ones that were panels, had taken them way beyond being a panel, so I had no problems with them being entered.
I did ask if they had some entries. No
......... or did they tell me the truth?

I'm still wavering on buying the Dear Jane software for the EQ. I have EQ7 and EQ Stitch. I have been taking lessons for the EQ stitch. It's the only way I'm going to learn this program. The lessons have really been very good through Quilt University. Don't know how much time I can put into the Jane quilt with DH taking all of his treatments. Not on chemo now, so things are a little better.

GrannyQ ... so good to hear/see from you. I am sure you and your husband are enjoying the reprieve from chemo and I hope things get better for the two of you. Meanwhile, here's to some well deserved and delightful quilty hours for you!

My neice called last night, my sister has an infection behind her eye, they did surgery but don't know if she will lose her eye or not, they say this is worse than all the chemo treatments she has had, also possibility she had a stroke in her eye. Things don't look good, so some special prayers for her would be great. Thank you.
