I Spy quilts are always fun and make me want to be around the small child who can point out all the neat things when I ask them to find them. Lucky child to receive this.

Default 4th Finish

Finally got this quilted and bound. Guess I should have pressed it before snapping a pic....horrible fold wrinkle in the center, sorry.
I'm donating this to our local firefighters who do the charity stair climb in Seattle. They are have a fundraiser this week. Hope it makes some money for them!
I envy the I Spy quilts....I just don't have the fabrics for them but I am working on it....lol

Hope everyone has a good weekend!

What a lovely quilt, Marilyn! It should make money for them. Hope it sells well. I think all I do is create more UFO's..currently making some pieces for the LQS to proof some designs I made for them. In between I lead and end with a big little 9P project. Oh well it's cold outside so feeding the birds and dogs is enough outside work!

Evie -

That's just beautiful! What a wonderful tribute to your mother. Very nicely done.

Marilyn, great quilt like your color placement. Kind of you to donate it to a great cause

Marilyn, I like your quilt. Hope it gets lots of money for the firemen. I especially like the variegated binding. I am doing more of those with each quilt I make, especially the scrappy ones.

I'm enjoying seeing everyone's UFO's getting done. They are all so pretty.

Thank-you for the idea of using scrappy fabric for binding on my scrappy quilts.

I just realized this month is 1/2 over and I haven't started quilting on my February project. That's a tomorrow project. Then I will start back to working on my orange sampler quilt. I only have 9 more individual blocks to do. Then I can start putting the quilt together.

Thanks....I have started using them more and more...uses up more of the fabric so there are less scraps!

I've been working away - but none of the projects I've worked on can count as a UFO. I call it UFO prevention
Oh well, I do have one UFO which is now quilted. Will post a pic as soon as I get the binding on. It's hanging in the doorway to my sewing room in an attempt to encourage me to move it along. Didn't help yesterday
