February Secret Pal Swap Closes Jan 31st 4pm CST
#113
Received my package the other day and have already started doing things with the stickers and plans for the yellow (my favorite) fabric for a table runner for Spring/Easter table runner. Thanks again to my new quilting friend Belfrybat.

I know this doesn't belong on this post, but thought I'd offer this group first since I've been involved for so long.
The church group I sew with cleaned out their quilting room and was going to throw out bushels of books and old patterns. I just about had a heart attack when I saw the pile, so put it all in the back of my van and brought it all home to go through. You know, "one man's trash is another man's treasure..." Anyway, found some old Sunbonnet Sue patterns and books and a rather extensive collection of books and block patterns for southwest themed quilts. The former user must have been a history teacher because the blocks are from all the Indian tribes and native areas of the West.
I would love to find a good home for these patterns -- if you're willing to pay postage, please pm me and they can be yours.

I would like to thank theifner for the package she sent. I love the Rick rack colors you chose... Thank you so much. I will be bowing out of this swap for a while and I know I may not sound too happy right now. It's nothing to do with the swap or anyone... I just found out yet another death has happened in my family. That's 5 in the last two years, 3 of which were within the last 6 months. My half-sister died yesterday. She was 25. I am just exhausted.
The chocolate is much appreciated right now theifner. Thank you.

Thanks for responding -- the Southwest and Sunbonnet Sue patterns are going to new homes. I still have patterns for clown (yuck!), circus, animals for kids quilts, crazy quilting, applique, and tons of OLD misc. stuff. Cross stitch, crochet...my SPs for the next few months are going to be inundated with patterns (lol).
