After a series of health problems, I am beginning to feel like I can quilt again. I have 3 tops to assemble and quilt. One string quilt is in pieces to be assembled this afternoon as it is snowing gangbusters out now.

    Default Bucket list

Mine is to go to Bali to do a Batik workshop, buy beautiful batiks and make a quilt from them. Also I want to finish the t-shirt travel quilt that represents all 7 continents that I have traveled to - Antarctica coming up in this next year.

Mariner's compass. I have a DWR started (strips cut, but nothing pieced). I love Jinny Beyer's quilts and may do one or more from her patterns, a tesselating cat and one with a rainbow of colors.

I too have too many UFOs but I had been looking at Dear Jane for the last couple of years. I started it with a group last week. It is a 13 month program. I also would love to do a hand appliqued quilt.

I have been looking at a Carpenter star and my niece just told me that is the pattern she wants for her wedding quilt.

    Mariner's Compass?

I made a few pillows-man that one is hard. So many little weird points and stuff to match.

I can't trust myself to do a simple 1/4 seam allowance on someting like that or I will mess it up for sure!

When I did MC I had to use lines and lots of pins.

Storm at Sea has been on my bucket list for many years. The diamond stops me from trying it. I want to improve my skills before attempting it. I've come to realize that the 54- forty or fight block contains a triangle with the same odd degree as the Storm at Sea diamond. I purchased fat quarters and trirecs ruler for a small trial run of Bonnie Hunter's Celtic Solstice. I want to finish my scrappy Irish chain first.

My list is Double Wedding Ring for my bed, a wall hanging from the pattern of Edyta Sitar's quilt on page 11 of the New Keepsake spring catalog, a 30's sunbonnet Sue, a 30's Dresden plate....a butterfly quilt with an appliqued basket of flowers in the center...that's just the top of the list....have fabric for all the above quilts bought....and ready...
Got to finish a Dallas Cowboys throw for oldest daughters birthday coming up Feb. 28th...and get it quilted...Then I can start on my Bucket List....I can only do one project at a time...can't handle having several going on at the same time...OCD kicks in..
Happy quilting for all your Bucket Lists...
