Well I kind of have a solution to the never ending scrap problem. I have been working very hard to organize them, they lived in bins for a long time and were almost impossible to use efficiently. So I have been putting them in a shallow clear bin and slowly but surely sorting them. Well this is what I found when I went into my sewing room. Scrap problem solved, they were really a dog bed in disguise.

Jolo's block
Jolo, My heart went out to you when you told your situation of loosing your quilts. I had to make you a block to help replace your cherished quilts that are missing. Now if anything could go wrong with a block, it happened with your block. First I tried for about 3 hours to get my embroidery machine to get work properly to embroidery my name and address, with no success. I decided to hand embroidery instead. I went back to my sewing room to sew the center block to the surrounding blocks and I noticed I did not put the half square triangles to the corners of the block so after completing this step, I cut my "K" and the right hand corner of my Michigan so I had to get my embroidery tread back out again and finish the embroidering. I will put it in the mail Monday and I would imagine it will take 4-5 days to get to you. I look forward to seeing your quilts when they are finished. Hopefully you will not have any of the problems I had today.

Jaba, I love your quilt. Purple is a favorite color of mine. I really like the controlled scrappy look. After following the BH mystery quilt I learned I was not a scrappy fan but I really love your quilt and love the batiks. No matter how much I try my backing never comes out straight so I'm hesitant to do a 2 sided quilt and yours is perfect!

Jaba: That is truly an exquisite quilt! The only problem is choosing which side to display.
Thanks for all the nice comments re my spoiled pet. His name is Taggart or Tag for short. He's my constant companion, really don't know what I would do without him.
