I made one last year for a GGD and am working on one for another GGD Hope none of the other GGkids are saving t shirts, lol. The quilts do get heavy so I send mine out to be quilted.

They will love the fluffy quilts. I tied my last tee quilt and it is my favorite quilt. There is some weight to it but it's great for relieving stress.

    Sissy,
I am sooooo with you. I have two t-shirt quilts at the longarmers. These were for my nephew and his little son. I hope my three sons and two grandsons never do anything but wear their sports t-shirts. I know better than to say never again so, if they ever ask, hopefully either the memory of this exercise will have faded or I can wiggle out of it! I was seriously so tired of them that it took me two weeks to do the last two hours of work to complete the tops. The tops turned out great but I would never have believed that I could get fed up with anything piecing. These did it!

Those are such a wonderful trip down memory lane for each girl. What did you back them with?

They look great.I have avoided making a t shirt quilt for the same reasons you are done with them.
