    I agree with appliquing some flowers or something on it. Also, quilting designs may perk it up.

    I think I would cut it into 4 and send the pattern going off into 4 different directions.

    If it were me, I'd insert a 2" red border inside your outside border for a quick-fix and perhaps do your binding in the same red colour with a red backing fabric.

    It s a gorgeous quilt and once quilted, it will look amazing!

    I think it needs a border about 2 inchs wide before the wider print border. That should make it pop!

    Applique something on it .. Sunflowers, bees, lady bugs etc.. Maybe that will change your mind.
