why I am the one nervous, just am.

Have that darn crud that seems to be going around now.
Didn't work yesterday or today.
Um,
You're nervous because it's YOUR "baby" having a baby...
My mom was awful when I was in labor..of course I didn't know until after, as back in the day it was hubby's only. But Mom could pop in up until the actual delivery part.
I found out later the last time after she had come in she went out to the waiting room, crying so hard. My dad jumped up, grabbed her up, hugging her saying, "What's wrong??!!?"
Mom snuffled and said, "My baby's having a baby...".
Needless to say, I think my dad wanted to throttle her! As she scared the life out of him!

Now that I'm a Mom who's also a Grammy, even though it was my daughter-in-law having the baby, I was still nervous..for her and my "baby" (okay, my son was 28, but as we all know, they're always our babies, at least in our hearts).

So, perfectly natural for you to be nervous..And when the big day gets here, you'll be going on nervous energy..but it will be a most amazingly wonderful day for you and your daughter and grandson..
And I can't wait to hear all about it!!
Feel better soon..

Mary, have you seen the tiny Uggs at Joanns. they are in a size one and they fit Zoey perfectly. they are adorable.
they also have tiny sneakers there too. I guess for dolls. Zoey likes to wear them around the house b/c the kitchen is tiles and her toes get cold, so she'll wear uggs in the house.

Karen, hope you liked her trip as much as she did.

Done with everything, ready to ship. Maybe tomorrow if the snow isn't to bad.

Quilty-Louise, Take good care of yourself. You want to be in tip top condition when this baby gets here! Prayers for Baby and his parents. For Grandma and Grandpa, too! You'll be posting pictures before you know it!

Lynnie, No I haven't seen the tiny uggs. I bet they are to darn cute. I have a pair of size 8's that I wear though. I understand why Zoey loves them.

Joanns has in the doll making section mini Uggs. about size 1. I think they are cheaper at "Puss in Boots" though.
they keep her tooties warm. Wish I had a pair.

I finally came up with a needlebook design I'm pleased with! Yay! Hopefully I can get my projects finished and mailed soon! I have to make myself refrain from crafting/sewing for a few days- I have GOT to finish this dense book for my history of medicine rotation and it's taking FOREVER. Sad sewing moratorium imposed

We have snow again, our last snowfall finally melted two days ago and left us with a lovely shade of mud. Macha went out at 5:30 and came back in a reported it was over her knees (around 3 - 4") and almost touching her belly -- she is a Schnauzer/Jack Russell Mix. She gave me her "make it go away glare". Getting ready to work on my pincushion today and then to designing a needle case. Hope to do a little redwork and some knitting as well. Working on a dog sweater (uggs not included) but I have misplaced my book with the pattern in it; so I will find another pattern to finish it.

It has been cold here in CO, but as is with our weather it is changing
again. I heard possible 70 degrees tomorrow or this weekend.

I think the high for yesterday was in the 20's but I honestly can't remeber,
since I was in bed all day. Still not 100% up to par, but I think I can muddle
through work today.
