BLOCK Magazine
#51
Thank you for sharing! Mine hasn't come in yet but since many here have received I know it should be in the mailbox soon. I for one do not intend of canceling my subscription. Though I'm a visual learner I love to have the written instructions as well. As one stated here if one was to buy a quilt pattern it would cost much more than the magazine and the magazine gives you much more for the price. Also I ordered and have the Modern Quilt Book and it does have some interesting blocks. I love to learn new things whether it is modern or traditional and this is why I love BLOCK.

Ours came on Tuesday. I didn't love any of the quilts, but I will keep taking the magazine. I was looking forward to the modern issue, and thought this would be it, but I guess it will be a different issue. I would like to see what they put together for modern.

I didn't find anything interesting in this last issue either, but I will keep subscribing. I've found quilts I liked in past issues, so one issue isn't going to change my mind about the overall subscription. I love to watch the videos, but having the written pattern before me is very desirable without having to go back and refer to the video for details. Sure can't beat the price, IMHO. I also ordered the modern quilts issue; I'm not a big fan of modern quilts at this point, but that's not to say I won't change my mind.
